Composite spun fibers are more susceptible to moisture and dust than conventional synthetic fibers. Moisture can cause fiber clumping and oil migration, and dust mixing can affect subsequent combing, mesh laying, and thermal bonding effects. The packaging is divided into three levels: inner packaging, outer packaging, and overall tray packaging. It is equipped with a full process moisture-proof and dustproof protection plan:
1、 Packaging method
1. Inner packaging
Using thickened polyethylene PE film as the inner sealing bag, short fibers are placed in the PE bag and then heat sealed for full sealing to avoid pinholes and air leakage caused by sealing virtual welding; The long filament tube is wrapped with PE wrapping film one by one, and then wrapped in an inner film bag. The bag body has certain tensile and puncture resistance, reducing friction and damage during transportation. Each bag comes with a product label indicating specifications, batch number, line density, oil content, and production date.
2. Outer packaging
Conventional products use laminated polypropylene woven bags or thickened waterproof kraft paper bags; Ultra fine denier composite spun fibers are made of laminated corrugated cardboard boxes to prevent dust from infiltrating through weaving gaps. The bag mouth is sewn with double threads, and a leak proof cloth lining is added to the sewing position to prevent fiber spillage and dust from entering through the needle seam. Large tonnage bulk shipments use PP ton bags (container bags), with PE inner lining film added to the inner layer of the ton bags, and the loading and unloading ports of the ton bags are separately sealed. Printing product information, moisture-proof, rainproof, and scratch resistant labels on the outer packaging.
3. Overall packaging of the tray
The packaging should be neatly stacked on plastic or steel wooden pallets, with the stacking height controlled within the specified range to prevent the package from being crushed; The entire pallet is wrapped with multiple layers of stretch wrap film to secure all packaging units onto the pallet, preventing tipping during handling and forming an outer dust-proof and waterproof barrier.
2、 Moisture and dust prevention measures
1. Pre packaging control
After cooling and dust removal by air shower, the fibers are packaged when the material temperature drops to room temperature. Directly sealing high-temperature fibers will form condensation water inside the bag, causing fiber moisture regain and oil agent precipitation. Dust the fibers before packaging to reduce production dust residue inside the fibers. For orders in high humidity areas, special desiccants should be placed in proportion inside the inner membrane bag to control the micro environmental humidity inside the bag.
2. Inner layer sealing for moisture and dust prevention
The inner PE film is heat sealed to ensure no air leakage gaps and isolate direct contact between external moisture, dust, and fibers. Select low precipitation films to avoid small molecule migration and contamination of fibers, which may affect the subsequent thermal bonding performance. After the packaging is completed, a random inspection of the sealing is conducted, and negative pressure leak detection is used to check for the presence of micropores and cracks in the film.
3. Outer packaging protection
The outer packaging adopts a film structure, which blocks the infiltration of rainwater and dust; Add lining fabric at the seam of the woven bag to seal the gap between the seams and prevent dust from entering. The cardboard products are made of waterproof laminated cardboard, with added corner protectors to prevent damage to the box and inner lining during loading and unloading.
4. Moisture and dust prevention measures for storage
The finished products are stored in a dry, ventilated, and dark warehouse equipped with temperature and humidity monitoring equipment to control the temperature and humidity of the warehouse and avoid condensation during the rainy season. All pallets are stacked overhead, with ventilation gaps reserved under the pallets to prevent direct contact with the ground and isolate moisture from the ground; Stay away from external walls and condensation areas in pipelines. Regularly dust the warehouse to reduce the adhesion of environmental dust to the outer packaging. Different batch numbers should be stacked separately to avoid mixing and maintain unobstructed channels.
5. Transportation, loading and unloading protection
Transport vehicles should be enclosed box trucks, and dust should be cleaned in advance. Outdoor loading and unloading operations are prohibited on rainy days; Make sure to cover it with rain during transportation. Handle with care during loading and unloading, and do not drag or throw to prevent sharp objects from scratching the packaging film. During forklift operations, avoid puncturing the packaging bag with the fork teeth.
6. On site acceptance and protection
Unpacking upon arrival should be carried out in a dry and clean environment. Fibers that have not been used up in one go after unpacking should be resealed in inner membrane bags to prevent long-term exposure, moisture absorption, and dust deposition. If the packaging is damaged, it should be isolated and inspected separately to evaluate whether the fibers are clumped or contaminated.
